Students in Mr. Caporoso's 6th grade Social Studies classes at Penn Middle School have been studying ancient texts. In the Fall, the students worked with cuneiform, the earliest form of text. Most recently, they completed a unit on ancient Egypt and learned about hieroglyphics text. The students compared and contrasted the two texts and observed how drastically text changed over time. They also created hieroglyphics depicting their first, middle, and last names.
