The Penn-Trafford School Board and Administration recognized the following Students of the Month for March 2022:
Gianna Enick, Elementary
Gianna Enick is a 5th-grade student at McCullough Elementary. Gianna is the daughter of Tera and Mike Enick. Mr. Joe Marasti, the school principal, commended Gianna for being an outstanding leader and strong student. “Gianna’s future is bright and full of potential, which makes her the perfect student of the month,” said Mr. Marasti.
Gabrielle Rubbe, Middle School
Gabrielle Rubbe is an 8th-grade student at Penn Middle School. Gabrielle is the daughter of Shane and Nicole Rubbe. She was introduced by Mr. Jim Simpson, principal. He recognized Gabby for demonstrating academic excellence and kindness to everyone around her. “As principal, I can’t remember a more friendly, positive, and hardworking student,” said Mr. Simpson. “We are very proud to have Gabby as our student of the month.”
Nicholas Freilino, High School
Nicholas Freilino is a senior at Penn-Trafford High School. Nicholas is the son of Gary and Amy Freilino. Mr. Tony Aquilio, principal, commended Nicholas for his high academic success as well as his long list of extracurricular activities and leadership positions. “We are all extremely pleased with what you’ve done at Penn-Trafford,” said Mr. Aquilio. “Thank you for being a great student, easy to look up to for your fellow students and the staff here.”
The students attended the March 7, 2022 School Board meeting where they were each presented a certificate of achievement and applauded for their accomplishments.
