Robotics Challenges Engage Students

Students from Penn-Trafford Middle Schools competed in a robotics competition on Friday, February 2 at Franklin Regional Middle School. Greensburg Salem Middle was also in attendance. A total of seventeen teams competed in two challenges including a main challenge and an on-the-fly challenge.

 

In the Main Challenge, the Penn-Trafford team of Nate Law, Curran Crenshaw, and Logan Bolton took first place while PJ Eiseman, Altesse Dongfack-Dongmo, and Declan Joyce placed third.

 

In the On-The-Fly Challenge, Penn-Trafford’s team consisting of Cole Ward, Liam Heslop, Nick Phan, Brayden O'Connor, and Brooks Burmeister placed first and Erik Gunstrom and Drew Hauck placed fourth.
