In March, the sixth-grade students at Penn Middle School (Penn-Trafford School District) completed Junior Achievement’s program, JA BizTown, and then spent a day in the organization’s business simulation lab in Bridgeville, PA.
During the event, students assumed various roles within a simulated community and learned about financial decisions, job interviews, and teamwork.
"JA BizTown was an incredible experience,” commented Penn Middle teacher Dr. Katie Datz. “Watching our students take charge, run businesses, and truly understand how a community works was inspiring and so much fun at the same time!"
